Seventh Brigade Park is located in Chermside. Its main attraction is a playground that's so big I initially thought it was a building. However it's actually just a fort-like structure called Kidspace that's great for imaginative play.
Near this structure there are free electric BBQs, a basketball half-court, a rebound wall, a chessboard, toilets (including disabled access) and a car park. Not far away is an area of concrete paths that have been designed to look like roads (complete with stop and give way signs) for kids to ride their bikes on while simultaneously learning road rules.

While it sounds like everything has been crammed into this one area off Murphy Road, the huge 70 hectare space that makes up the park actually has four other playgrounds, as well as ovals (including cricket pitches) and a dog park. These can be better accessed from other roads or entrances.
Throughout it all there are bike paths which help make up the Downfall Creek Bikeway.
